最近发现的一只乐队，不错，虽然他们的专辑挺早就出来了，不过真正红起来确实最近，有点maroon 5 那种感觉，慢热型，不过真的他们的歌最近打榜都挺凶的，还被誉为coldplay 接班人了。所以就忍不住翻了他们的rock榜上首波主打over my head(cable car),RFP0_imageRFP0_image至于里头每次唱道with eight seconds left in overtime的怪怪的声音我是故意的，哇哈哈哈哈Sn0D_image因为觉得听主唱那样感觉还挺好玩的～！

成立于2002年的丹佛乐队The Fray由四人组成，经过三年的努力，在去年的九月份推出了首张专辑How to Save a Life，之前提到的单曲Over My Head (Cable Car)最早出现在电影原声大碟Stealth之中。聊到The Fray的音乐，也许并无新鲜感可言，但也决不是下三烂的垃圾货。虽然不一定是模仿，但一听就会让人联想到两支英国的乐队，Coldplay和Keane，特点在于The Fray对于钢琴的钟爱，对于Coldplay的相似之处，可以这么说，有时候你在听一首歌的前奏的时候，期待的是Chris Martin的声音，直到主音的声音出现，你才发觉你原来在听The Fray的音乐，专辑也绝对是可听的，我说的可听的指的是，如果在公共场所播放他们的专辑，机会没有人会提出任何的异议，虽然很对人会无视他的存在。主打歌曲Over My Head (Cable Car)无疑是一首值得多听几遍的歌曲，在当今这类歌曲在排行榜上不多见的情况下，这依然是一首不错的好歌。标题歌曲How to Save a Life来得更加的抒情，开场的钢琴绝对让人沉醉，歌曲也在很大程度上和Over My Head (Cable Car)打成平手，She Is的前奏比较英式摇滚化，而歌曲不出意外地抒情又注重旋律。在这样一首单调之中，All at Once在不打破专辑统一性的前提下，大胆地把专辑的节奏推进到了一个更高的高度，表现也更加放松，更加摇滚，虽然在很多看来，这样的摇滚还是不够。歌曲Hundred有着一分钟的前奏，你可以尽情享受他们的钢琴小品，但歌曲主题闪现出更多的成熟，至少是嗓音上的表现，更加脱离一种固定的模式，Look After You的高潮我不能说是catchy，还一个词应该是深刻，虽然唱的只是oh oh的呻吟。另外一些比较有力的作品是Dead Wrong和Little House。专辑有着那么几首不错的单曲，但是过于平铺的结构和质量，也许真实专辑未能引起太大注意的原因。
